Executive Director of Enriching Learning

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a dynamic professional to provide visionary leadership with a focus on Literacy & Out-of-School-time (OST) programs as the Executive Director of Enriching Learning. This position raises funds, expands partnerships, and grows programs while utilizing exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to engage staff, members, donors, and the local community while building and supporting a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and strategic direction for Literacy & OST programs.
2. Raise funds and expand partnerships.
3. Grow programs and engage with the community.
4. Build and support a high-performing team.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
2. Expertise in organizational development and stakeholder engagement.
3. Knowledge of industry trends and advocacy.
4. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
5. At least five years of community outreach experience.
6. Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Daxko, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
7. Strong organizational, relationship-building, and communication skills.
8. Supervisory, administrative, and financial management abilities.
9. Some evening and weekend work is required to oversee programs.
