This is an exciting time for you as a strategic thinking problem-solver to join our senior leadership team. To meet the challenges we face as a city and council, the senior leadership team has been aligned to three strategic themes – Organisation, Economy and Families.

We are looking for someone to fill the role of Director of Finance - which sits in Families strategic theme - you will be responsible for a dynamic portfolio of services, putting residents at the heart of what we do while responding to the city and council’s evolving financial needs and priorities. 

The successful candidate will be accountable for leading a range of services including:  

  • Audit
  • Procurement
  • Commercial Services
  • Revenues and Benefits
  • The Hub and the named
  • Deputy Section 151 Officer
