The Assistant Director - Social Care and Early Help is responsible for providing strategic leadership for these areas of responsibility within The Children and Families Service of the Council.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented leader who will bring a brighter future to every child and young person in Redcar and Cleveland.

This is an exciting time in Redcar and Cleveland as we have a new Directorate management team who have a clear vision of the Directorate's ambitions to deliver outstanding services to children and families.

As our Assistant Director for Social Care and Early Help, you will be a qualified social worker who will ensure that we safeguard and nurture our most vulnerable children, support our families in need and work with our teams to continually improve.

You will work collaboratively with partners and other agencies to ensure that all children are given the best possible start in life and are well equipped and inspired to go on to fulfil their ambitions and potential.
