Grade G14 - Salary - £101,865 - £111,258 per annum

About the Job
Fulfilling the role of Chief Planning Officer, you will provide the strategic direction for a co-ordinated range of place-shaping teams, ensuring that good growth and thriving, inclusive communities are created in line with the ambition set out with our Local Plan and Corporate Plan.

We're looking for a leader who can innovate and foster a strong customer service ethos. You will be an experienced planner who is confident in providing sound and impartial advice to senior officers and our Elected Members. You will be able to quickly command professional confidence and credibility, collaborating and negotiating with a range of stakeholders to help achieve the very best place outcomes for our borough. You will lead a hard-working team and live our organisational values and leadership behaviours.
